Richard Key
Agent
Richard was born and raised in the West Texas town of Big Spring. A proud 2001
graduate of Big Spring High School, he went on to earn his associate degree
from New Mexico Military Institute in 2003 and later received a B.A. in
Criminal Justice from Angelo State University in 2008. During his time at
Angelo State, Richard was a member of the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity.
An
Eagle Scout with three palms and a Vigil Honor Member of the Order of the
Arrow, Richard has always been committed to leadership and service. He is
currently a Committee Member for the Wichita Falls Ducks Unlimited Chapter and
actively involved in supporting wildlife conservation.
Richard
began his career in real estate in 2008 after earning his license and joining
his family’s office in Big Spring. He was quickly recognized with the Rookie of
the Year award from the Permian Basin Board of Realtors and later received the
Texas Association of Realtors Political Involvement Committee Strike Force
Award and the United Country Pinnacle Award. From 2015 to 2021, he continued
his real estate career in Wichita Falls, earning another Pinnacle Award in
2016. From 2021 to Present, he was a member of McLemore Properties.
Richard currently serves as the Governmental Affairs Chairman for the Wichita
Falls Association of Realtors.
In
addition to his real estate career, Richard has served as the Texas Game Warden
for Archer County for the past 15 years. He holds a Master Peace Officer
License and multiple specialized certifications within the law enforcement
field. He is one of only 60 certified drone pilots for the Texas Parks and
Wildlife Department and serves as a drone instructor. Richard is also a member
of the Game Warden Boat Accident Reconstruction Team and the TPWD Honor Guard,
continually advancing his expertise through ongoing training.
Richard
is married to his wife, Elizabeth, and is a proud stepfather to Logan.
Together, they enjoy hunting, fishing, traveling, and cheering Logan on in his
many sports activities.
